Eye Make Up Tips for Glasses Part Two
This week we are giving advice for women who want to learn makeup tips that will work with their glasses. Ariane Poole provided some great advice and today we’re looking at how to wear eye make up if you have near-sighted ladies glasses.
Make Up Tips for Near Sighted Prescriptions
Near-sighted glasses make the eyes appear smaller than they are. You can use makeup to help make your eyes look wide and bright. The first method to achieve this is to avoid wearing darker shades and tones.
Lighter colours will widen the eye and make them look much bigger. You can also use shimmer too so look for shades with that extra sprinkle of sparkle, regardless of your age.
Eyeliner should be a must-have in your makeup bag. Eyeliner used under the centre of your eyes and on the top of your lash line gives definition. This helps to attract the attention of others to your eyes rather than your frames.
You can also use mascara too which will frame the eye in an attractive way. A great trick used by makeup artists is the application of a highlighter. Use the highlighter just under your eyebrows. This works to make your eyes look bigger, perfect if you have a near-sighted prescription.
Finally, remember to pay attention to your eyebrows and keep them groomed. Many women neglect their eyebrows thinking that the glasses will hide them, this isn’t the case! You can use your eyebrows to give your eyes more definition and help them to have a much more pronounced look.
