Standard glasses lenses generally require a lot of care as they can get scuffed or scratched over time. Anti-scratch lenses are an excellent solution for those who want to avoid damage to their lenses if they are often left out of their glasses case.
Anti-scratch coatings provide an invisible but strong barrier that keeps your glasses protected at all times. This means you will be able to avoid scruffs from normal day to day wear of your glasses, helping to ensure better vision quality from your lenses. Scratch resistance coatings are available on all of our glasses with lens packs Bronze and above!
Are there limitations to anti-scratch coatings
Whilst an anti-scratch coating can help with very light scuffing, it can never protect your lenses from scratching. Thus, we always recommend handling your glasses with care and cleaning them carefully with an optical cleaning cloth to ensure they remain in the best possible condition.
Which lenses are available with anti-scratch coatings?
At no additional expense, polycarbonate lenses are included across our selection of glasses. These lenses are particularly tough, ensuring a long-lasting and reliable eyewear experience. Our high-index lenses, available in 1.60, 1.67, and 1.74 options, are inherently equipped with this protective coating. This lens protection enhances the longevity of your lenses to provide you with clearer vision.
