Use the Virtual mirror

Using the Virtual Mirror is easy but we have produced the following guides to help you if there is anything about using the mirror you are not sure about.:

Mirror Overview

We have just made shopping at Glasses2you for your perfect pair of prescription glasses much much easier. Our new Mirror allows you to try glasses on without leaving the comfort of your seat. Not only that, but unlike other rival web sites, our Mirror is not a Gimmick. Ours will actually truthfully show you what you look like. i.e. Our Mirror tells the truth! If the glasses are too big for your face, our mirror shows you this.

How does it do this?

Our mirror does NOT allow you to resize your head and the glasses to whatever size you want like our rivals do. What use is that? Anyone can make a pair of glasses look good if they can make them whatever size they like. However, the reality is that when your glasses arrive through the post, you CANNOT do that!!! So, it was a pointless exercise.

Our mirror asks for a bit more from you but it's worth it. By entering your pupilary distance (>How to measure your Pupillary Distance<) our Mirror scales your photo to the exact same scale that our glasses are all set to. This means that if you have a small head and you try a pair of glasses on that are too big. They are too big and our Mirror shows you that! We don't want you to be disappointed with what you order. We want you to buy the perfect pair of glasses for your face size, colouring and shape. So, you move on and try the next pair until you find just the right frame. Not only that, but you can take a snapshot of yourself wearing the glasses and then email it to a friend for their opinion!

When visiting a High Street optician to try on a new frame, it is not always easy for you to see what you look like as you are not looking at yourself through prescrition lenses. Therefore, some high street opticians have adopted the policy of taking your photograph so you can then see yourself wearing your potential new frames through your current specs. This new feature of our web site offers the exact same service.
