Using our Virtual Mirror is easy. You can either use one of the pre-defined faces within the mirror or you can upload your own photograph from your local hard drive or use your web cam if you have one. Please ensure that the image file type you use is a jpeg image and the file name contains no spaces (File size between 150K and 600K is best). For best results, upload a digtal photo rather then use your webcam. Please follow these steps:

Click on one of our pre-defined faces to load it into the mirror. Try to choose one that resembles your own face in terms of shape, colouring, age, hair colour and sex. We are always adding to our collection of faces to try and cover as many variations as possible. Click the arrow at the end of the row of faces to select others within the collection. |

What makes our Mirror different is that everything is to scale. By choosing your Pupillary distance from the drop down menu shown in the diagram ensures that when you try a pair of glasses on in the mirror, that IS exactly how they would look on you in terms of size if you were really trying them on. Our mirror lets you know if a pair of glasses is too big or too small. A lot of competitors also have Virtual mirrors but they are nothing more than gimmicks. They allow you to resize your head to whatever size you like and then the glasses too which means you can make any glasses look good on you. In reality however, when you receive the glasses and find they are way too big or small you realise that using their mirror was a pointless exercise. Our Mirror tells the truth!!! |

The image on the left shows the face scaled with a PD of 57 which makes quite a big difference to how the face appears in the mirror compared with the previous image which has the PD set to 64mm. Our Mirror tells the truth!!! |

Choose the range of glasses you would like to view frames from by hovering over the orange drop down menu as shown in the image. Our Mirror tells the truth!!! |

Click on one of the thumbnail images within the range chosen and the glasses are placed on the generic face for your consideration. If you don't like them simply click on another thumbnail to change the frame instantly. Our Mirror tells the truth!!! |

Roll your cursor over the 'Choose frame colour' pallet and a description of the colour is displayed. Clicking on a block of colour will change the colour of the frame within the viewfinder. Our Mirror tells the truth!!! |

Our Mirror also allows you to choose a colour for your lenses should you require your glasses to be prescription sunglasses. Simply click on a colour block to change the lens colour. Further more you can change the density of the tint by hovering over the 'choose lens tint' drop down menu that appears when a tint colour has been selected. This is shown in the next image. The Glasses2you Virtual mirror also allows you to take a snapshot of yourself wearing any glasses that you like the look of. Just click the Snapshot button. Your images are then stored as thumbnails at the bottom (Up to 8 images can be stored) Clicking on a thumbnail will reload it into the viewfinder allowing you to quickly compare all the glasses you like the look of. You can then eliminate any that you don't like so much by pressing the blue circle with x in the middle. Clicking on the 'View Details button' will take you to the corresponding product page where you can proceed with your order should you wish to. Our Mirror tells the truth!!! |
Get someone else's opinion

Probably the best feature about our mirror is that you can save your pictures to your desktop as postcards OR even better, email them to family and friends for their opinion on whether the glasses suit you or not. To do this simply press the 'SAVE' button under the thumbnail picture of the glasses you want to send. This will open another window with the two options displayed. You choose! Have fun!
