After recent negotiations, glasses2you is delighted to confirm that we will be sponsoring the British American Football League team judges for 2009

American Football is one of, if not the fastest growing sports in Great Britain. It has over 7,000 members and is growing at a minimum of 12% per annum (government sets targets of 1% per annum growth for sport... the BAFL exceed that target every month!). The reason for this growth is partly due to the presence of the NFL, the most successful sport entertainment business on the planet (more successful than the Olympics). In the last two years, the most oversubscribed game at Wembley has been the regular season games between NY Giants and Miami Dolphins (2007) and New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers... More people want tickets to these games than FA Cup finals and England internationals. As a result of this activity, people want to play.  
 
Speaking on the sponsorship, Glasses2you Director, Ian Allcoat, commented, “After hearing about the growth of American football in Great Britain and, specifically, the BAFL Team Judges project, we are delighted to be sponsoring such a trail blazing and groundbreaking initiative that will grow the number of people officiating in sport and support the development of grassroots sport in Great Britain”.
